Lord of the Rings Movies

Gandalf, the wizened wizard who shed his mantle in the Two Towers after the epic battle with the Balrog of Moria and from then on became Gandalf the White, is one of the constants in the Lord of the Rings movies. He was the wise one, the experienced one, the one who almost always saves the day. What would the fellowship have done without him? If it weren’t for his appearance during the many times when the Fellowship was in a bind, Frodo and his comrades would have been up to their Hobbit necks in trouble. Makes one wonder what would happen if Gandalf weren’t there to save them. Would the Fellowship have had a chance?
