Legolas, the Prince of the Elvin Kingdom of Mirwood, became a part of the Fellowship of the Ring as a delegate of his nation. With his sharp eyesight and keen hearing, this elf prince is one member of the group who proved his indispensability by protecting his team and fighting of evil creatures throughout their long journey. The elf was unscathed through it all, but Orlando Bloom, the actor who played Legolas, was not quite so lucky. He suffered broken bones, cuts and sprains during the whole production period, but still, bravely went ahead and continued filming despite his injuries. Maybe Legolas could provide his human counterpart a bit of his elf magic? Just a thought.
